I am a proud member of a community of family and friends who continue to support and teach me through their words and actions. I try to actualize the values of community, love, and critical praxis as I perform many roles in that community, including partner, friend, teacher, and researcher. My work currently draws on ideas and concepts from organizational and cultural sociology to explore how to build school infrastructures that encourage and support transformative, humanizing, and joyful learning experiences.
